New Copiers and Copying Textbooks – Troubleshooting

1.       Put materials as far as possible to the top and to the left – horizontally not vertically.

2.       Leave the Simplified Display button OFF – it restricts your options too much.

3.       Copying textbooks – Yes, students can easily do two pages at once.

a.       Lie the book flat and hit Auto Reduce.  This gets 8.5X11; hit 8.5X14 for larger size.

                                                               i.      The book must fit into 11” vertically and 17” horizontally

b.      If the resulting print is too small – instead of Auto Reduce, hit Dup/Combine, then Series, then Book 2-sided.

4.       Printer 5 is the only one without 8.5 x 14 sheets.  You must select either landscape or portrait.
