LOGIN -- If you have not received an email or a notification in the mail regarding your online WebCT ID and password, use the following steps:

• For ALL students - Your WebCT ID is now your WebAdvisor User ID. To look up your WebAdvisor User ID click here .
• Your password is still the WebCT password - the first 8 letters of your last name and the last 4 digits of your social security number (no hyphens, capital letters or spaces).
  • If you registered for classes and were given a temporary Social Security number by someone at registration, the last 4 digits of this temporary number are what you will enter for the password.

BACKGROUND -- WebCT (http://dl.bergen.edu) is the online course software program used at Bergen Community College.  Only students who have registered for online or hybrid classes will have access to WebCT.

Q: How do I get into my course?  How do I navigate inside WebCT?

A:  Students who have elected to register for online or hybrid classes should plan to attend an orientation session for WebCT prior to the start of class. 

Distance Learning offers many orientation sessions at the start of each semester. 

A schedule of these sessions can be found at: http://www.bergen.edu/pages/837.asp. 

If you are unable to attend one of these sessions in person, you can participate in an online orientation by utilizing the "Resource Area" inside of WebCT.
